New office new discoveries
02/16/2012
On the first day in our new office spirits were high. Not least because we have the coolest offices in the company! While we were busy emptying boxes and organising my desk and the bookcases, i discovered this magical book: Il etait une fois – (Once Upon a Time) by Benjamin Lacombe . Moving day, doesn’t mean i need to compromise on style
02/13/2012
Even though it was the day before we moved offices and the floor was a veritable maze of boxes, i couldn’t forgo my signature high heels. My superman assistant was a great help with packing all the Swide fashion materials, he’s so organised and made my life so much easier. When a mistake becomes an opportunity
02/09/2012
After lunch one day my assistant and i ended up on the top floor of the Dolce&Gabbana headquarters by mistake. Up there, surrounded by the top management’s palatial offices we spotted an oasis on the roof. There’s a beautiful terrace verdant with Mediterranean plats and Prickly Pears, typically Sicilian. Shopping? I am (always) in!
02/06/2012
Me, Massimo and Yigit were super excited for the shopping day at Disponibile. Each one of us had a long wish list for the Dolce&Gabbana FW collection. Before leaving for Legnano, where Disponibile is located, we stopped by at California Bakery for breakfast. We had a long chat debating what to order and what was better to leave on the shelves. During Milan Fashion Week in September I was invited to the Roberto Cavalli Fashion Show. Out of respect, I wore Roberto Cavalli clothes which i bought when i worked in their design offices. Even though the clothes are from old collections, i still love the python print chiffon shirt with its crocodile belt. Continue reading “Roberto Cavalli Fashion Show” »
behind the seams of the Interview w/ Harper’s bazaar
01/30/2012
On my Birthday I had set an interview to give to Harper’s Bazaar Turkey, it has been one of a kind experience and the most beautiful gift I have ever received on my Birthday. Few days before Milan fashion week, I was very nervous. Beside talking to Swide’s Fashion Editor, they requested explicitly a Diva look! Help! My Men’s DG FW13 show Diary
01/20/2012
For this post I’d like to tell about my day as a Fashion Editor for Swide and for The Dolce & Gabbana Men’s Fall/Winter 2013 Fashion show. This is my look to attend the Dolce&Gabbana fashion show. It’s a black tube dress covered in sequins and decorated with colored stones seamed around the neck’s profile from the new collection SS Dolce&Gabbana.
Here’s a blog on all the action as it happened. Continue reading “My Men’s DG FW13 show Diary” »
In love with Paris
01/18/2012
After Milan Fashion Week I headed to Paris. It was my first ever Paris Fashion week so I was literally giddy with excitement! After scrupulously planning my wardrobe and raiding the Dolce&Gabbana showroom for samples, I arrived in Paris with a suitcase full of autumn clothes and virtually summer weather! But Paris being Paris, and fashion week, being fashion week, I had no time to faff around and headed straight to the first show! Continue reading “In love with Paris” »
Mongolia Mania
01/11/2012
It was a beautiful early winter day, the sun was shining and the air was crisp. It was the perfect weather for a quick lunch at the California Bakery, (our favourite Swide haunt) and my grey Mongolian fur vest. Continue reading “Mongolia Mania” »
