One morning last week I decided to go visit the shopping centre of Milan with our new Swide Art director Karla Matijašić. We started with Milano Libri in Piazza Della Scala where we documented ourselves for some new editorials on Swide and carried on down Via Manzoni. Its not ling to Christmas and we wondered at the lovely window displays for Prada, Hermes, Tiffany and Cartier. We finally reached the Dolce&Gabbana boutique in Via Spiga 27 and it was a wonder to behold. Continue reading “Christmas Spirit by Dolce&Gabbana” »

TheStylistme introduce you to Korean traditional Cuisine
11/19/2012
I am very happy to introduce you to Korean Cuisine. One of the most interesting things to find out about when in Korea is its cuisine, which is a long history in tradition and culture. It has a lot in common with the Japanese and Chinese one. In Korea, as much as in Japan, along with pickles and rice, mussels and fish are the main elements of the Korean cuisine, that also include meat, vegetables, spaghetti and tofu. The Korean cuisine is very healthy, because most of the ingredients are steamed or grilled and then used in soups. Sauces are mainly made of garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil and spicy sauce (Gochujang- 고추장) which is a paste made with spicy peppers. #Hallowood2012 Religion
10/31/2012
I’ve been preparing my Halloween outfit for the Hallowood 2012 religion edition for like two weeks. I decided to create a mix and match mood inspired by Victoria Secret Angels and Marie Antoinette. I was so excited to make the clothes and angel wings all by myself. I’m an atheist, but I do believe in something otherworldly looking down on us from above the clouds- I just don’t have a fixed religion. I guess my religion is Chanel! It was really fun to create the outfits, the scouting and researching as well as the actual making of the different pieces.Anna dello Russo & me in Angelic version. A fashionable guide to Seoul by theStylistme
10/22/2012
In the occasion of #Seoulfashionweek,I’m happy to tell you about my country, South Korea and my home town, Soul, its capital. From a fashion view point its very interesting and creative as you can see the western trends interpreted according to the eastern culture. Korea is situated between Japan and China. From a cultural standpoint and linguistically, Korea is much closer to Japan. Being in between of the two, Korea is pretty much forward looking from both a technological angle and fashion. So much so that many Japanese and Chinese come to Korea to shop. I was born in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. The city’s situated in the northwest of the country, just south of the demilitarized border. The city as the political social and economic centre of the state, and it’s the base of many multinationals’ headquarters which operate in the country. As the capital of Korea, Seoul represents one of the strongest economic powers on the world stage and it’s the concrete symbol of what is called “the Miracle of the Han river”, which refers to the huge progress the Korean economy has undertaken in the last decades.
