One morning last week I decided to go visit the shopping centre of Milan with our new Swide Art director Karla Matijašić. We started with Milano Libri in Piazza Della Scala where we documented ourselves for some new editorials on Swide and carried on down Via Manzoni. Its not ling to Christmas and we wondered at the lovely window displays for Prada, Hermes, Tiffany and Cartier. We finally reached the Dolce&Gabbana boutique in Via Spiga 27 and it was a wonder to behold. The Dolce&Gabbana traditional Christmas decorations consisting of a beautiful table laid out with scrumptious food looked new, as it does every year for me. The addition of the seasonal baroque frame on the windows made the display really look like a painting. Karla and I rushed in to gaze at the display close up.The beautiful tables decorated with sumptuous flowers and Sicilian delicacies and a Dolce&Gabbana Christmas tradition, but to me they look different and surprising every year!
On the menu this year as well as winter fruit and Sicilian delicacies we can find mignonne baroque handbags! Less edible but so beautiful the whole display took our breaths away!
Top of my Christmas list this year comes the Mini Sicily with baroque embroidery and charms and the matching velvet pumps.
Should I go for red or black?
