Ever wished to be a fly on the wall? Well, here is the next best thing, a selection of images from the backstage of the Dolce&Gabbana Womenswear Fall Winter 2014 runway show. As always i arrived at the theatre three hours before show time for meet head womenswear designer explained the mood, inspiration and details of the collection are explained to me. He was very emotional when describing the details and i was really taken a back by the quality. Sicily and Dolce&Gabbana are inseparable, but this collection, it was renovated and fresh, as well as very personal. I thought it was really very elegant, especially the materials and silhouettes. Inspiration – Domenico Dolce & Stefano Gabbana were inspired by the mosaic of Monreale for this collection.
Now I’ve been working as Digital fashion specialist at Dolce&Gabbana (Digital Marketing & Communication), and each time, when a fashion show comes i get as excited as the first time!
As always i try to be the go between the design office and the public.

The Dolce&Gabbana Mosaic Collection was all about detail, no more so than in the bags. The shoes of the Mosaics Collection are as intricate as the clothes. A huge variety of materials have been experimented with, from wood, to metal, velvet and lace. Exquisitely fashioned, crystal embellished, encrusted with mosaic like tiles and even a golden birdcage with delicate flowers.
I was really happy to have done so much and at my best. I had to rush out of the Metropol to go say hello to other bloggers who were invited and friends. Stay tuned for more from fashion week by your theStylistme!
