Dolce&Gabbana are launching an amazingly luxurious sunglass collection entirely gilded in 18K gold! The people in charge of the licensed portions of the Dolce&Gabbana family asked me to do some illustrations for the sunglasses. Here is what I came up with. It was important to have a clear visual aid to the men’s Gold Edition, as its rather special. It folds over in the middle and can be worn either attached to your belt or round the neck like a necklace. So I drew some illustrations which explain how the glasses work and the ways they can be worn once folded. I’m an ex fashion designer, and even though I’ve left that behind I still love to draw. It was a great experience and i love the idea that my illustrations are housed within the packaging of the sunglasses. Here’s a video of me drawing.
