This week she interprets Dolce&Gabbana’s modern Sicilian vision into a pretty evening look. I love the this dress from the Sicilia portion of the SS12 collection. The fabric stretch cotton poplin, is really simple and clean, and it holds the shape really well. This particular dress, with its full skirt and stitched bodice is sexy but also sweet. I like the idea of wearing it with a leather jacket overlaid with lace- its a new item for the season. Wear this look with sky-high Cinderella pumps and heart shaped earrings for the romantic feel and a leopard print Miss Sicily for an edge. I love matching my iphone case to my handbag.
And here I am wearing that esaxt dress! I was being interview on food (one of my favourite things apart from fashion): to play up the lovely cut of thedress I only wore my earrinsg with sicilian charms and religious icons by Dolce&Gabbana and red nailpolish. I am inspired by Sicilian culture!
Dolce&Gabbana launched in 2011 their first ever collection of fine jewellery- check it out here!
Here you’ll find more suggestions on how earrings can add value to a look. And gawk at my accessories obsession!
Here is the back of the dress, so cute with that bow.
Here are all the dresses from the Sicilia portion of the collection.
I think this dress would look great with glasses from the Matt Silk collection. The pastel frames add a touch of spring flair to a black outfit.
And as make up? Rigorously made up eyes with the Khol collection crayons and dark nailpolish.
I love red nailpolish- and it would look great with this dress too!
Here’s a Swide history lesson for you: the Miss Sicily through the ages.
