When the weather is glorious like it has been recently the impetus to wear something flowery, summery and romantic takes over.A pretty flower print cotton dress has to be a constant in the fashion attentive woman’s wardrobe. Outerwear with summery dresses is not asy to get right- so why not opt for a bright pink leather jacket? Its fun and picks up on the pinks of the flowers on the dresses. This look is perfect for a picnic. Think of those old style American scenes where the dad drives the family to the park in a Cadillac, the mother brings a basket with cold cuts and potato salad and the family lies on the grass enjoying the weather on a gingham blanket? Well, this look would be perfect for their pretty daughter. Add a turquoise bowling bag and brightly coloured earrings like these pink heart shaped ones with crystals and black lace sandals with a big bow.

I usually wear floral print dresses in Spring, especially when the weather is sunny. Today I wore a nini jump siot  picked up from Topshop in New York when I was last there. I matched it to a light blue mini Miss Sicily and the amazing PVC heels from the SS12 Dolce&Gabbana Runway Show.
